<br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the La Plata Coal Mine for the month of February, 1997. <br />ROADS: The roads are covered with snow and no signs of traffic was observed. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE: The two major sediment traps have been totally filled in and should <br />be cleaned out during the coming summer. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS: The site is totally snow covered and vegetation could not be <br />assessed. <br />
