<br />INSPECTION REPORT - PAGE 2 <br />FILE N0. M-82-129 <br />DATE: May 15, 1986 <br />OBSERVATIONS OF IMPORTAIJCE: <br />1. Topsoil stockpilers were unseeded and of steep slopes. <br />2. It appeared that topsoil was not being salvaged during current mining of <br />the pit. <br />3. Large stockpiles, scale house and loader were on the site. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />1. All topsoil stockpiles stored longer than one growing season should be <br />graded to slopes no steeper than 3H:1V and seeded with perennial cover. <br />2.
