Randy Smith accompanied the DMG inspector throughout
the inspection. The proposed site is an existing gravel excavation area, utilized by USES,
Montezuma County and Dolores County. Pursuant to the Schedule A agreement between USFS
and DMG, a reclamation permit appears necessary for proposed activities.
Access to the proposed mine site is gained through the existing access road. The reclamation plan
indicates that the access road will be removed with final reclamation of the site. The proposed site
appeared consistent with the descriptions submitted in the application.
Permanent man-made structures within 200' appeared limited to USFS road 521.
I & E Contact Address
NAME Lloyd Everett
OPERATOR Montezuma County
STREET 1680 Narth Hiahwav 145
CITYISTATEIZIP Cortez.
