III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection of the Trinidad Basin Mine for the month ofSeptember. The permit <br />was revoked and the bond was forfeit at this site. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE: The site has experienced a considerable amount of rain recently and <br />the vegetation continues to do well. All ponds had water in them but none were not discharging. <br />Pond 15-P1 is very close to being silted in and should be cleaned. <br />ROADS: The access road to the upper ponds continues to degraded. The road ditch continues <br />to downcut. <br />
