III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Blue Flame Coal Mine for the month of August, 1997. <br />The site is in excellent shape. Vegetation is doing very well and there are no signs of erosion <br />anywhere. The shrubs are providing the deer with forage. Burdock, Canada Thistle, and Russian <br />Knapweed are starting to become a problem. Spraying them wirh Tordon would be very <br />benificial. <br />
