The Rimrock Mine <br />consists of appr•aximately seven acres of reclamation. T he 2002 gnawing season will De <br />the ninth year rollowing reseeding. <br />~yailability of Records <br />The public copy of the mine records is kept at the office of the Las Animas County <br />Planner at the county courthouse in Trinitlad. The permit applicaCfan, findings document, <br />DMG mining permit, valid insurance, and bond document were found an file. Some records <br />have not been updated since the last ccxnplete inspection, Please ensure that ail <br />quarterly monitoring records (DMR's and porx! inspections) ano DMG inspection reports are <br />on file fog public review throuoh June. <br />Hydrologic Balance <br />The sino'.r- s~~`;ent pond at the site was faund dry, the area received s~ gain t~,c ;lays <br />priar, kcnever, evidence indicates that avaiiable moisture was absorbed by the soil and <br />did not produce surface water runoff, <br />Rd'.-q~tdtiO^ <br />Vegetation appears much improved witn the recent rainfall. $oil moisture was g: <br />to at least four inches in depth.
