'"
(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-1987-049
INSPECTION DATE: Angst 1(,. 7000
OBSERVATIONS
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: CaM
This inspection was conducted at the request of the operator to check an area that will soon become a Brighton City park. The
operator wanted to know the procedure for getting the area released so that the City could install part of a slurry wall and then
convert the area to a park with different vegetation than is required by the Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG} permit.
Mr. Andy Walsh of the City of Brighton was present at the inspection.
It was suggested by the inspector that an acreage reduction request be submitted to include all areas that were going to have
the slurry wall installed, including the actual park area and approximately 100 feet to the south of the park. All land is
presently owned by the City of Brighton, therefore, if the City is willing to agree to accept the land as is and not hold the DMG
or the operator liable for any future reclamation, the DMG could release the property in question.
A request for acreage reduction with adequate documentation was received at DMG offices on August 18, 2000. This
included a letter from the City of Brighton which absolves DMG and the operator from further reclamation liability in this case.
The maps received regarding new permit boundaries will replace the present permit boundary maps with regards to the permit
area designation. Further, Exhibit A will replace the presently approved Exhibit A in the permit document.
No problems were noted during the course of this inspection.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Mr. Bill Timmons
OPERATOR: Readv-Mixed Concrete Comoanv
STREET: 4395 Washington Street
CITY/STATE21P: Denver.
