A site inspection of the Beech Hill Quarries was conducted in response to an inquiry from Boulder County Land Use <br />Department of possible backfilling of mobile homes and automobiles at the Beech Hill Quarries. Present during the <br />inspection was Mr. Michael Loukonen of Loukonen Brothers Stone. <br />2. There was no evidence of the alleged activities at any of the sites permitted as part of Mining and Reclamation Permit <br />M-1981-277. Likewise, there was no evidence of insulation (as from a mobile home) at any of the sites. <br />3. This inspector explained the nature of the inquiry to Mr. Loukonen. Mr. Loukonen explained that there has been no <br />backfilling of any possible toxic or hazardous materials on site at the Beech Hill Quarry. Mr. Loukonen further explained <br />that occasionally, local citizens trespass onto the Beech Hill Quarry property and dump trash materials.
