The material in Containment Area 1 was too soft to excavate further ~ <br />and there were concrete foundations that could not be excavated in Containment <br />Area 2. Basin submitted a revision request to raise the embankments one foot and <br />two feet respectively in order to contain the 25 year, 24 hour event. The new <br />abatement date is 5/6/93 at B:OOam. <br />
