III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Arness McGriffen Mine for the month of May, 2000. The site is <br />dry and the weather clear. <br />Roads: The road to the site is deteriorating due to no maintenance and use during wet conditions. <br />Hydrologic Balance: The site is as stable as it will ever be. <br />Reclamation Success: The vegetation was starting to green up and does not appear to be any worse <br />off from the winter weather. New garbage in the form of shot up TV's and junk is now on site. <br />
