III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Tom Gillis of the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. No <br />operator representative was present at the time of the inspection. Skies were clear and the ground dry at the time <br />of the inspection. With the operator's consent, this report was issued from the Durango office. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE: <br />The site appeazed to be in the same condition as observed during the previous inspection. Both sediment ponds <br />were dry, and it did not appear that the site had received any measurable precipitation during the past several <br />weeks. Pond spillways and dewatering devices were free of obstructions. <br />3 <br />
