III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Arness McGriffin Mine conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado <br />Division of Minerals and Geology. <br />The ground was dry and clear of snow. Grass cover was turning green. The permit for this mine was revoked <br />more than ] 0 years ago. The site was reclaimed by IML in April 1990. <br />Roads <br />The cable across the access road has been removed in recent weeks allowing vehicle access to the site <br />General Mine Plan Compliance <br />The site was showed no changes from the previous inspection. No problems were evident at the Amess- <br />McGri~n site. <br />
