Excess Sooil <br />Fill 8 is nearing completion, including topsoil re-spread and reseeding. The only work <br />remaining is in the lower section of the east downdrain where additional rock placement is <br />necessary, Mulch was evident beneath the snow cover and all areas appeared to have been <br />dozer tracked after mulching. Some additional minor grading may be necessary on the east <br />access ramp built for removal of topsoil from the large pile east of the fill. This area is <br />currently very rough and may be subject to excessive erosion if not addressed. Terrace <br />intersections with the downdrams should also be carefully constructed to ensure function. <br />Overall, the site appeared in good condition for the winter season. The operator should be <br />commended for the excellent progress in reclaiming the site. <br />
