MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING.ID #: M-1980-244 <br />INSPECTION DATE: 7- 10-02 INSPECI"OR'S INITIALS: BK <br />The Division conducted a monitoring and construction progress inspection of the site on 7-10-02. The site <br />had received measurable precipitation the night before that was evident with the water noted in the <br />external pond. Pump back system for the pond should be completed by the end of the week. While in the <br />area, the following readings were collected from the low volume transducer for the pond. Transducer #1 <br />was recorded at 11.4 inches and # 2 was recorded at 9.3 inches. No problem noted.: <br />Inspected the Phase II pregnant solution collection area, and recorded the following readings from the <br />High and Low.volume solution collection transducers. .. ... <br />High Volume transducer # 4 was recorded at 33.5 # 5 was recorded at 31.8 and #6 was recorded at 34.5 <br />Low volume transducer #1 was recorded at .16 and #2 was recorded at .18. All m_ easurements are in feet <br />of hydrostatic head. <br />Inspected the under drain area, both the South under drain discharge and 4 inch pipes were discharging. <br />North under drain was dry. Both ponds were holding a small amount of water from the rainfall the night <br />before; no problem noted. <br />Inspected Yh'e Phase IV (A) AREA. Ore' has been placed in the area (along the WesYSide) to be used as haul <br />road. No liner deployment was taking place at the time of the inspection. According to Golder Associates <br />representatives, the small amount of water encountered in the underground workings of the Phase IV,. <br />PSSA AREA; was pumped out and no additional recharge other than from precipitation events was noted. <br />Inspected the upland Diversion for the Amendment 8 area, along the West Side.
