Correction Date 12/20/92
(PB) Problem
Topic (SM)Signa and Markers
Boundaries of the affected land are marked with temporary pine at ground level. These are
not wholly adequate to locate the permit boundary in the field without conducting a survey.
There ie no identifying sign at the entry way.
Prior to operating the pit, the operator moat poet a sign, clearly visible from the access
road that lists the name of the operator, a statement that the operation has been issued by
the Colorado Mined Land reclamation Board, and the MLRB permit number. The operator should
erect permanent field markers identifying the permit boundaries. These markers will help
keep equipment operators from working outside the permit boundaries and are neceesary to
identify the boundaries during field inspections.
