This inspection was conducted as part of the 4-year monitoring program in the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology. Present at the inspection were Kate Pickford, DMG, and Connie Davis, Aggregate Industries - <br />WCR, Inc. Weather at the time of the inspection was clear, calm, and approximately 45 degrees. <br />2. A sign and boundary markers are posted at the site. Mining activity has occurred at the site, but the site <br />is not currently active. The last work at the site occurred in November 2001. The site contains material <br />that consists primarily of sand, which is not marketable on a local level. The operator is attempting to <br />have the landowner take over the permit. Sand, concrete and asphalt stockpiles are present at the <br />site, as are some pieces of old equipment, including conveyors. <br />3. No weed control has occurred at the site during the last year due to negotiations with the landowner. <br />Weeds are prevalent at the site and weed control measures need to be incorporated. <br />4. The current bond amount posted for the site is $15,000.
