III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the <br />inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts orevidence <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Blue Flame Mine conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division <br />of Minerals and Geology. Prior to May 2004 DMG had last conducted reclamation on this site in May 1993. In <br />May 2004, DMG had a subsidence feature at the top of the portal area regraded and a diversion ditch was <br />excavated around the regraded area. <br />Several inches of snow covered the ground. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />There aze no ponds or ditches on the site. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />The site appears as it did when I last inspected it in July 2005 (Tom Gillis has done quarterly inspections since <br />[hen). No slope stability, erosion, or subsidence problems were evident. <br />
