Present during the inspection was Mr. <br />Mike Ausburn of Pioneer Sand. <br />1) Site is a small 110 (9.9 ACRES) that has not been mined with the exception of <br />stripping. When site was inspected 2001, the wrong permit # was sited, the <br />inspection report should have been for M-1997-097, which is a contiguous 110 permit. <br />2) According to Mike, Pioneer after digging some test pits, in 2007, has determined <br />there might be some aggregate to the west and south side and plans to commence <br />mining as soon as possible. <br />3) However, according to the annual reports for 2006 & 2007 it is indicated as mining <br />to have been completed. It also states, only 50& processed stockpiles remain to be <br />removed. Operator needs to replace the annual report with an accurate description of <br />what is actually on site.
