III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection of the Ohio Creek Coal Mine #2 for the month of September, 2001. Weather <br />at the time of the inspection was cloudy. <br />Hydrologic Balance: The pond is dry and appears stable. <br />General Mine Compliance: The mine is doing well at this time but grazing has not commenced. <br />Reclamation Success: As can been seen from the photo, vegetation is established but is not as robust <br />as the vegetation outside the fenced area. <br />
