The <br />Shavano Pit is approved for 49.11 acres permit area. Affected lands will be reclaimed to support <br />Industrial/Commercial post-mining land use. Operations appeared dormant during the inspection. <br />Mine identification signand permit boundary markers were posted. Public access to the site is controlled <br />by locked gate.
