Comments - Compliance <br />Below are particular issues with regard to any of the compliance items. <br />Enforcement actions resulting from failure to comply with the Act, Rules <br />and Regulations, and the permit also are identified below. <br />Mr. Weaver asked what requirements were applicable concerning the need to <br />fence off the permit area to exclude cattle. Rule 4.15 applies to this concern: <br />1. Grazing must be approved by the Division; <br />2. topsoil stockpiles must be revegetated; and <br />3. the. outslopes of ponds must be stabilized (revegetated). <br />If cattle are allowed to graze in the area, the chances of establishing a <br />stable and self-sustaining vegetativer cover are reduced. <br /> <br />
