III. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations <br />made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during <br />the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division <br />of Minerals and Geology. This site is entirely reclaimed, with a total reclaimed <br />area of about seven acres. Ground conditions were dry. The weather was warm and <br />mild. <br />Hydrologic Balance <br />The sediment pond appeared in good condition and was dry. Engleville Gulch was <br />not flowing. Dry conditions have prevailed so far this spring. <br />Revegetation <br />Vegetation is growing vigorously. Diversity appears good. Shrubs are beginning to <br />leaf out. One lone bovine was present on the site. No evidence of planned <br />grazing so far this spring was observed. <br />Overall the site appeared in excellent condition for the spring season. <br />3 <br />
