Woody plant density was estimated by counting woody plants rooted
within a 2 meter wide belt quadrant running the length of each transect.
Data Summary
(Reference any tables, diagrams or maps attached)
Attachment 1- Transect Locations
Attachment 2 - Woody Plant Density Summary
Narrative Evaluation of Compliance
This parcel was characterized by high cover and production, dominated by titer
milkvetch, alfalfa and various grasses. Cover was not sampled, but ground cover
and composition appeared to be very similar to the vegetation on the east facing
slope of the 21.6 acre (10/82) area. No evidence of erosion was observed. A
woody plant density estimate of 266 + 366 was obtained from two transects. Big
sagebrush was the dominant shrub.
A separate tracking sheet should be filled out for each area and compliance
topic evaluated.
** If applicable
DTM/ern
4538E
