RE: Bunn Ranch Pit, Permit No. M-1980-131 -Proposed Work Schedule Dear Mr. Mount: As a follow up [o our site visit and discussions on October 14, 2003 concerning the damage caused to the most southeasterly lake by high-water flows in the Yampa River this past spring, I have prepared the following update and schedule for completion of the Technical Revision we discussed. 1) The damage caused by this past spring's high water to the neighbor's property to the east of the aforementioned lake has been completely repaired. This work was done co- operatively by Lafarge, Elam Construction, and the landowner. The landowner secured the necessary 404 permit and design for the repair of the riverbank, Elam provided the equipment and Lafarge provided the materials for the repair. 2) The damage to the existing eastern berm has not been repaired, as this will be the location of the inlet structure for this lake so it didn't seem prudent to repair the berm to just re-excavate it in a couple of months. In order to complete this repair, the following work items and timeline have been developed. 3) Due to the age of this site, no good topographic base exists which will allow Lafarge to complete the revised plans without completing a new survey. The revised topographic maps are to be completed by the end of December 2003. 4) We have contracted Johnson, Kunkel & Associates of Eagle Colorado to complete the engineering design of the inlet and outlet stmctures.
