Ci <br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br /> <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />The small conveyor disturbance reclaimed area on the east bank of the river was apparently sprayed earlier <br />this spring by County or State Highway Department weed control crews. Originally, it appeared that <br />numerous shrubs had been killed, but apparently they were merely defoliated, as they subsequently appear <br />to have recovered. <br />Subsidence <br />The "Man-Made Features" Map was recently updated as requested, along with updated Surface Land <br />Ownership map. A liability release application for lands that were not disturbed by mining activity but <br />including various areas underlain by mine workings was submitted earlier this year. A required inspection <br />associated with the liability release application was conducted on August 28, 2007. The inspection did <br />not identify any areas with apparent subsidence features or damage within the liability release area. The <br />liability release inspection report has not yet been prepared. <br />7 <br />
