III. Comments/Compliance <br />This was a complete inspection conducted by Jim Burnell of CDMG on Monday, March 20, <br />and Tuesday, March 21, 2006. Weather was cloudy with snow showers. The mine site <br />was quiet. <br />The road to the mine site was in good condition. The gate was locked and ; the sign needs <br />updating. <br />The Pit 1 area in the north area of the mine showed good beneath the drifted snow. There <br />was no sign of instability or erosion on the slopes. <br />Pond G showed no signs of erosion and the dam appeared stable. Most of the dam and the <br />spillways were covered with drifted snow. The gate to the pond was open. The culvert <br />beneat the road was clear. <br />Pond F was drifted full of snow. The dam appeared stable with no erosion and no discharge. <br />There was no sign of erosion along the dam inlet. <br />The crest of the dam at Pond E appeared stable and there was no discharge. <br />At the Marr loadout, the road was in good repair. The gate was locked and the signs were in <br />place. The ditch along the north end of the pad was clear. The pond was drifted with snow. <br />The pond embankments were stable with no erosion. The ditch along the railroad grade <br />contained water. <br />Records were checked at the office of NW Colorado Consultants in Steamboat Springs. See <br />the attached sheet for details. <br />
