III. Comments - Compliance <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of <br />ouservations made during tire inspection. Comments also descriue any <br />enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />On December 16, 1992 a partia.L inspection was conducted at the <br />Canadian Strip Mine. This mine is a reclaimed surface mine. At the <br />time of the inspection it was snowing and snow cover prevented <br />detailed observations. the county x•oad to the mine was closed <br />because of the snow, so observations were made from Lhe northern <br />portion of the permit area that adjoins the Marr Strip Mine. <br />The remaining water in pond 1 was frozen. AL1 surface drainages <br />were frozen. Nothing unusual has happened to the mine since the <br />last inspection and conditions remain unchanged. <br />No problems were noted as a result of this inspection. <br />
