III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Sunlight C-1981-046 <br />Pg 1/1 17 Nov 04 <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations <br />made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during <br />the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Sunlight Mine conducted by Jim Burnell of CDMG on <br />Monday, August 22, 2005, accompanied by Jim Stark, also of DMG. The site was deserted. <br />The weather was hot and sunny. <br />The upper road was stable and well vegetated, with a variety of grasses -western <br />wheatgrass, wild rye, timothy, and forbs including yarrow, lactuca and mullein. <br />The old opening on the upper level was sealed and appeared stable. <br />A few thistle were growing on the lower level but very few weeds other than that. Vegetation <br />was good. <br />The old adit below the road was walled in. <br />There was no sign of instability anywhere on the site and no erosion. <br />
