A site inspection of the Rafert Pit was made as part of the Division's on-going 4-year inspection program. The site is <br />located 10 miles northeast of Holyoke. Present during the inspection was Mr. Randy Schafer of Phillips County. <br />2. The Rafert Pit is an active pit with approximately 4-5 acres of disturbance. There is an active excavation of <br />approximately ~/z acre with depth of excavation of 4-6 feet. All disturbances were within the 9.9 acre permit boundary. <br />The site will be reclaimed to cropland. <br />3. An entrance sign was posted and the permit boundary was properly marked. <br />4.
