. f ,. • <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID# <br />INSPECTION DATE: 8-27-01 <br />M-1999-050 PAGE: 4 <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: ACS <br />Based on a review of the permit file, inspection of the site, discussion of <br />the issues with Connell Resources and their consultants and with John Andrew, <br />consultant to Louis Swift, the DMG has determined that the terms of the water <br />management and monitoring plan approved in TR-Ol have been complied with by <br />the Operator, Connell Resources. It appears that the plan did not result in <br />efficient recharge to Big Brother Pond during the summer of 2001. However, <br />the installation of a filtered culvert from Willow Pond to Big Brother Pond <br />resolved the water level problems. <br />One inspection observation unrelated to the water issues made during this <br />inspection was the presence of wood slash and timber on the pit slope at the <br />east end of phase 2.
