I believe the correspondence, both from your office and
from Grand Mesa Coal, records the facts accurately.
I believe that Grand Mesa should receive good faith
consideration, in that a one-week extension was requested during
the July 13th and July 15th inspections. As the facts record,
we had attempted to solve this problem by the dates required on
the previous inspections, and had found that we had the wrong
piece of equipment. We had rescheduled another piece of equipment
to do the job. It should be noted that in the past we have had
working cooperation to allow such repairs to be made at reasonable
times. Yo~~r consideration of this factor will be appreciated.
Very truly yours,
~Js.~--, ~ 1-. w~~
William S. Tate
WST:KES
