The <br />weather was warm and cloudy and the ground was dry. <br />fie portal area appears to be in good shape and the entire site is well vegetated. <br />fie old sediment pond was dry despite several recent precipitation events. fie old <br />highwall still appears to be stable (there did not appear to be any more fallen rocks. <br />fiere were cattle at the old coalsales/tipple area so I did not enter this part of fhe <br />mine. <br />
