III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br /> <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations <br />made during the Inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during <br />the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection of the Coal Ridge Mine conducted by ]im <br />Burnell, accompanied by Tim Stark, both of CDMG, on Monday, August <br />22, 2005. <br />The weather was hot and sunny. Down the hill from the permit area, <br />a tractor was working in the field. <br />The permit sign was posted at the entrance road; the information was <br />correct. <br />The permanent road was in excellent condition. <br />Cover over the site was good, with western wheatgrass and mountain brome <br />predominating the vegetation. while noxious weeds were not a problem, <br />there was a small amount of bindweed, and there was some knapweed in the <br />area uphill from the pond. The knapweed should be sprayed this season. <br />
