A site inspection was made of the Distel Farm Resource operation. Present during the <br />inspection were Louise Michaud and Greg Knell of SRK Consulting, representing the operator. <br />The purpose of the inspection was to discuss permitting issues that may appear during the <br />operator's uF~coming amendment application. <br />2. The permit for the Distel Farm Resource operation has been amended a number of times, each <br />time to add more disturbed acreage. The operator currently plans to submit another amendment <br />to annex two (2) new areas of disturbed acreage. A general overview of the current operation <br />and future at~endment area was conducted. <br />3. Topics th,st were discussed include the following: mining plan, reclamation plan, post- <br />mining land t~se, wetlands, water rights, Office of State Engineer requirements, assessment <br />of impacts tc• surface water and ground water, water features, permanent or valuable man-made <br />structures, threatened & endangered species, noxious weeds & a weed control plan, woody <br />vegetation protection, outlet structures, and Boulder Creek as well as St. Vrain Creek. <br />I & E Contact.
