• (Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-1977-1dA
INSPECTION DATE: n7/i9mn INSPECTORS INITIALS: C'I K
OBSERVATIONS
The following observations were made during an inspection made in response to a
complaint sent to the Division. After the latest transfer of the permit, a neighbor
wasn't sure that the current Operator was remaining within the boundaries of the
permit.
1) Signs were posted and boundaries were marked as required by the Rules.
2) The Operator is operating inside the permit boundaries. Three corners of the site
are clearly marked with fencing, and all excavations are taking place inside these
limits.
3) The width of the terraces was discussed with the new Operator, and details of the
reclamation were also explained. Some backfilling of the current terraces will be
necessary before the site can be released, since recent excavation has thinned the
terrace shelves past the required 12'-15' width required by the reclamation plan.
4) Sufficient topsoil is stored on the site to complete reclamation, and the drainage
around the site remains unobstructed. No standing water, aside from a few shallow
puddles, was noted at the site.
No other problems were noted at the site at this time.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: William S.
