~: <br />(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-~nnn-naF <br />INSPECTION DATE: R-~n-m INSPECTORS INITIALS: aK <br />The Division conducted a monitoring inspection of the site as part of the fiscal year 2001-2002, sites to be <br />inspected. The site used to be a 112, sand and gravel operation, located in Fremont County, approximately <br />6 miles Southeast of Florence Colorado. The site IS A SMALL 9.9 ACRES sand and gravel operation that was <br />permitted in 2000. The entire permit area was walked and inspected. A considerable amount of stockpiled <br />processed material was noted through out the permit area. Inspected the main pit area, high wall was <br />stable, no major problem noted. Overburden (top soil) stockpiles, properly protected and stable. Mine was <br />not active at the time of the inspection. According to Mr. Asuburn of Pioneer who was present at the time of <br />the inspection, most of the mining on site should be completed with in the next year. The small temporary <br />fuel farm area located along the South side of the permit was properly bermed, no problem noted.
