(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-81-179 <br />INSPECTION DATE 6/18/97 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS AJW <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This was a normal monitoring inspection conducted by Tony Waldron of DMG along with Joe Jay <br />of Yuma County. The pit is located approximately 20 miles north of Yuma along Rock Creek. <br />The mine identification sign was properly located at the entrance to the mine site and the <br />permit boundaries were clearly marked. <br />The operator has purchased some screening and crushing equipment and is in the processof <br />setting up a processing area to process some unsorted alluvial deposits with various sized <br />stones and cobbles in the deposit. Topsoil was being salvaged and stockpiled in desiginated <br />areas as required.
