III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection of the Arness McGriffen Mine flown by Harry Ranney on July 14, 2006. Tom <br />Kaldenbach examined a digital image taken on the flight on a computer monitor. <br />The permit for this mine was revoked more than 10 yeazs ago. The site was reclaimed by IML in April 1990. <br />One of the two photos was taken during the flight is shown below. The ground appeared dry. No problems were <br />evident in the photo. <br />Reclamation Success <br />The site appears as it has in past on-ground inspections. <br />
