III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection of the Arness McGriffen Mine for the month of October, 2001. The site <br />is open to public access and trash dumping again. <br />Roads: The road to the site was graded last fall and is passable but very rough at the mine site itself. <br />General Mine Compliance: The site remains much as it normally does. No new trash piles are <br />visible and the erosion is minimal. <br />
