O'G,onnor, Reclamation Specialist <br />~~~,; <br />Pursuant to the requirement of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act* to <br />inform counties and certain municipalities of Development and Extraction <br />Permit applications filed with this office, please know that. <br />Colorado Lien Company has filed to conduct <br />Limestone mining at <br />The applicant proposes to reclaim the site for ildlife Habi at <br />The deadline for persons to file statements regar ing this operation, or o <br />petition for a hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board tG consider the <br />granting of a permit is set by law. For information, please call this office. <br />The applicant is obligated to show that the proposed mining and reclamation <br />plans are in conformance with local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations <br />or master plan, and is further required to place a copy of the application for <br />public inspection with the Clerk of the county in which the proposed mine is <br />situated. It is the Board's understanding that the Act intends for the <br />application to be made available for public review and comment in an area <br />close to the mine. It is not intended that it be made a part of public record <br />by recording. <br />The Board is tentatively scheduled to consider this application on <br />June 25-26 1985. Please return the enclosed form when <br />etermination has een-mom as to the operator's conformance or <br />non-conformance with the County's regulations. <br />We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
