(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: ~~-1977-~~~ <br />INSPECTION DATE: 6-3~s 1NSPECTOR~ WITiALS: JD- <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />Completed an inspection of this site as part of a Mined Land Reclamation Board directive to inspect every mine <br />in the state at least once every four years. The operation was last inspected on March 18, 1999. <br />This is a 147-acre Regular 112 permit located about 3 miles south of Rocky Ford. <br />Currently, mining does not appear to be occurring at the safe. The operator is still removing material that was <br />excavated and stockpiled years ago. <br />A mine lD sign has been posted at the entrance to the permitted area. The permit boundary is adequately <br />delineated. <br />Saltcedar has invaded the permit area, primarily on the south side. The noxious weed must be eradicated <br />before N becomes a severe problem. This is noted as a problem on page 3 of this report. The operator must <br />Initiate a weed control program within 60-days.
