Comments also describe any <br />enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. This former, contour <br />strip operation is bond revoked. Irsoection frequency is quarterly, <br />with one complete inspection each year. Ground conditions on this <br />day were very dry and the weather was unseasonably warm and mild. <br />Signs and Markers <br />The sign posted at the east side of the mine permit area along the <br />county road identifying the site as a reclaimed coal mine was <br />cbserved intact and in excellent condition. <br />Hydrologic 9a lance <br />Nearly every pond at the site is dry or holding only a very small <br />puddle in the bottom. Rabbit brush, which is fairly abundant <br />on the site, is devoid of leaves, grazed heavily by the cattle. <br />During the inspection, a ranch hand arrived to feed the cattle. <br />
