III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection of the Arness McGriffin Mine conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. <br />The permit for this mine was revoked more than 10 yeazs ago. The site was reclaimed by IML in April <br />1990. <br />The ground was dry. Except for snow-cover having melted, no changes were found on the site <br />compared to the last complete inspection in December 2005. <br />Roads <br />Vehicle access from Hwy. 160 into the Arness McGriffin site was blocked with a cable. <br />General Mine Plan Comaliance <br />No problems were evident at the Arness McGriffin site. <br />
