III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the rnspecUOn. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the rnspecton and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />Thrs was an aerial inspection of the Coal Gulch Mine for the month of September. 2003 <br />Hydrologic Balance: The 3.66" storm 019/9103 still has water in the pond and upper depression. <br />The pond is not discharging, <br />Reclamation Success: The site vegetation appears to be satisfactory and the 100+ year storm does not <br />appear to have done any significant damage. <br />General Mine Compliance: The diversion to Coal Gulch did withstand the 1110 year storm but will need <br />some mrnor cleaning to continue to (unction properly. <br />
