III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE
Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made
during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection
and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action.
Road F was very stable and in good condition. The top of the road surface measured at three
locations ranged from 19 to 20 feet wide. Several road drainage run-outs have been installed
along this road.
The proposed Light Use Road is stable and generally well maintained. Some erosion was noted
in the road ditch on the southeast side of the road between Ponds 004 and 008. This road is
susceptible to heavy rutting particulazly during hunting season when the road is used for hunter
access. The top of the road surface measured at two locations ranged from 13 feet to 15 feet
wide At one location shown in the picture below the road measured fifty feet wide from ditch to
ditch.
Road E is maintained and generally in good condition. The top of the road surface measured at
three locations ranged from 22 feet to 27 feet wide. A lazge portion of the road does not appear
to have awell-defined road ditch. However, azeas surrounding the road along its entire length
aze well vegetated and stable. As seen in the photo below, some minor erosion is occurring along
the east side of the road in isolated azeas.
