(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-81-138
INSPECTION DATE: October 11.2000
OBSERVATIONS

INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: AIW
This was a normal monitoring inspection conducted by Tony Waldron of DMG along with Ted Lashley of Baca County Road
District # 3. The site is located approximately 20 miles south and 1 mile east of Walsh, Colorado.
There was a mine identification sign present at the entrance to the mine site but the affected area was not clearly delineated. I
appeared that the present disturbance was within the approved affected area, however, this is an odd shaped permit area and
some markers were missing. This is being cited as a problem on page 3 of this report along with corrective actions and dates.
The pit was inactive but a crusher was present at the site. Portions of the pit have been fully extracted and reclaimed by
backsloping the highwalls to appropriate grades, however, the majority of the pit still needs to be reclaimed. No other
problems were noted and this concluded the inspection.
cc: Jim Stevens-DMG
I & E Con[act Address
NAME: Ted Lashlev
OPERATOR: Baca County
STREET: 741 Main Street
CITY/STATE/ZIP: Springfield, CO 81073
^ CE
^ BL
^ FS
^ HW
^ HMWMD (CH)
^ SE
^ WQCD (CH)
^ OTHER
