Hawkins & Son • Telephone 8749353
949 Meeker Street • Delta, Colorado 81416
Feb. 23, 1994
RECEIVED
% / ~~
FE8 2 g 1994 ~ ~~~~
i~~

Please find enclosed a photo of the entrance to Benton Dawson Gravel Pit.
The sign is posted. The North line of the pit area is fenced east of the sign
to the east line fence. East line of pit is fenced to the southwest corner of
pit. South line of pit runs angeling to the entrance of pit. South line of pit
is controlled by the depth of gravel on the south slope of pit.
In reference to storm water plan, I contacted Dwain Watson in Grand Jct., Co.
and explained to him that all pit boundaries are higher than the pit and has
no runoff. He didn't think I needed a storm water permit, but asked me to
contact Sara Johnson (Phone: 692-3609), I explained the same to her. She agreed
that I didn't need a permit, but would ask Dwain Watson to check on the pit. If
needed, she would send an exemption for the pit.
Please advise me if this is not satisfactory.
Thank you.
Raymond L. Hawkins
Western Slope Cons t.
