III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the <br />inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence <br />supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. <br />No one else was present. The ground was dry. DMG completed reclamation on this site in May 1993. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />There are no ponds or ditches on the site. Vegetation has greened up on the site. Cover appears to be <br />controlling erosion throughout the site. No gully or rill problems were found. There were no sediment fans or <br />deltas. Positive drainage was well-established throughout the site. There were no signs of seepage below the <br />reclaimed portals. No off-site hydrologic impacts were apparent in Hay Gulch downhill from the disturbed area. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS <br />Reclamation appeared successful throughout the site. The hole reported as approximately 10 ff. uphill from the <br />east DMG marker could not be found. A large rock was found at this location. There were no signs of human <br />activity at the location. <br />
