<br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE `7~I~ ~~ ~ ~~~ <br />(~~YI /a3 Suzy nv ~~ <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observa iof ns - <br />made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during <br />the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection of the Twin Pines Mine conducted by Jim Stark of CDMG. <br />The bond for this site has been forteited and reclamation was completed by DMG. <br />The weather was warm and sunny and the ground was dry. <br />The coal sales/tipple area was in good condition. The vegetation is sparse from <br />active cattle grazing. There were no observable problems due to erosion. The <br />permanent pond contained a small amount of water. The road leading to the coal <br />sales/tipple area is a county road and is in excellent condition. <br />The portal area was well vegetated and in good condition. There are no signs of any <br />erosional problems at this site. The remaining highwall appears to be stable at this <br />time. There was no water in the remaining pond. The access road is in good <br />condition and is becoming covered with vegetation. <br />
