1 <br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />A partial inspection of the Bourg Mine was completed by Christine <br />Johnston of the Division. The weather was clear and cool. There <br />was about 2-3 inches of snow on the road and facilities area. The <br />snow in the reclaimed area was windblown. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />There are some rills forming on the south side of the site on the <br />north side of the road where the road begins to steepen. The rills <br />do not appear to extend into the reclamation, but are limited to <br />the sparsely vegetated "road embankment". These areas should <br />continue to be inspected in the future so that the problem does not <br />worsen. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES <br />There is a small barrel with liquid init. However, it may just be <br />water as there is a hole in the top. The barrel and its contents <br />should be disposed of properly. <br />No problems needing immediate attention were identified. <br />021B0[TAG.1 <br />
